ABOUT US HIPAA Security Tools is a division of Vance Digital, LLC, Jay Vance, CMT, President & CEO. Jay has been active in the medical transcription and health information technology fields in a variety of capacities since 1999. He is a Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) and provides digital technology and HIPAA compliance consulting services to MTSOs and independent contractors. He has served as a technical consultant for the Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI) and played an integral role in launching a number of technology initiatives for AHDI, including co-founding the association's first online component and introducing webinar technology for continuing education and web-based meetings. Jay has written and given live presentations on speech recognition, HIPAA/HITECH compliance and many other health information technology issues. |
